First and foremost, I would like to say thanks to Aien on her trust for me to become an administrator. I’m going to post something about futsal here since Aien can’t find anything to post yet.

Let start for the introduction of futsal. Futsal is an indoor version of football or soccer for American. The name futsal was derived from Portuguese and Spanish which hard to spell it with all the ‘a’ and ‘e’ that have a line on top of it. One thing that I know, both had a same meaning which is “indoor football”.

Two teams of 5 players each including a goalkeeper needed to play futsal. In this case, substitutes player might become handy. Lines are the limitation in each game that is similar to football. Unlike football which use a number 5 sized ball, futsal can be played using a number 4 sized or number 3 sized ball.

A man behind this sport is Juan Carlos Ceriani who was the first one to played it at YMCAs. This game was created on 1930’s and since then, so many rules and regulations acquired. Until now, they still have many version of futsal in the world.

To be continued…
